Rant VS Whining? Part 2 or should I say Take 2

I'm Back!!!

Well for those of you who just read my previous post, you should know the reason why I'm making another post directly after! It's because of the "dory" + randomness syndrome, LOL! If you haven't checked it out, please do so! I know it was totally and utterly failure, but I think it was worth reading! Anyway back to the main topics, and this time seriously! There will be no Glees, no chipmunks or any other random stuffs! I swear to you!

Well, okay. As some of you have known (who read my failure post), I have had one of the "worst" day in my life; and the reason for that is... pretty silly! No guys, not PMS! I was just joking. Don't bring that again please T.T (Woooo, look who's talking to himself; cockooo)! It was none other than simple mis-understanding! Well, I'm having this strange body that requires regular "stress" relief actions such as singing (including screaming at a unusual high pitch for boys), dancing like there's no tomorrow and riding scary rides in theme park (for screaming as well). Underline is, I need excessive movements and screaming!!!
The thing is, yesterday, I strangely decide to (and manage to) attend all of my classes + having some group meeting with some of ma fellas which requires 7 hours full of concentration in a row! Well, not really, the group meeting part consisted a fairly portion of serious discussion and massively big portion of just goofing around, chatting and walking-walking! Anyway you got the point! hehehe...
So, after successfully attended all classes. I got no energy to get back home. Owh, I walked to my uni guys just for your information. It was not that far, it was just 5 mins.... running like you can't feel your leg, 15 mins... mix of running and walking (called that "rwalking") and 30 mins... pure walking. But yesterday, since I was so excessively (look what I did? combining so and excessive) tired. I decided to "snail walk/ swalk" instead! Wow, did you guys know that snails walk 1mm/sec?!? Amazing rite? (It's true, I checked the WIKIPEDIA, you can't sue me :p) It took me forever to get back home... (at least I feel that) and it's alread 7.30ish when I arrive.
To cut story shorts, I haven't done any singing, dancing or riding jet-coaster (impossible) in the morning which means I'm still under lots of "stress". Then to make things worst, I found out a group of kids singing top 40 songs called Kidz Bop, both of em I love! Well, dontchu think that any song sung by kids will sound "good" (have a heart people!!!). Anyway, I got hooked up shortly after and then, my crazy so-called "need" came up in a very wrong timing (after 11 p.m. which I believe is "quiet" time here in our beloved Melby).
I decided to sing along all the tracks in Kidz Bop 20, their latest album! Yap, that includes the ballads, Pink's Perfect, Adele's Rolling in the Deep, Christina's Jar of Hearts and Selena's Who Says which I sang my heart out (closing my eyes, moving my hands in and out, up and down and believing every words of it). Simply say, I got lost in the song. Owh, and let's just say I don't have the prettiest voice in the universe; in fact, my mum kinda complains about it... not that often, just always, lol!
Included in my "singing" tracks are the dancey Britney's Till the World Ends and J-Lo's On the Floor! which means my second acts came up! Dancing. Well, I was once again got super duper lost in the song with my... ehem... "movements". I like to say that I choreographed it myself but I can't just because everytime the songs play I danced differently, so... owh well!
Then it was over, I already passed out in my bed and nothing happened (NOT hangover guys, I repeat not hangover, just simple exhaustion from my "dancing"). The next morning, I realised when I opened my blackberry that I got BBM from my landlord with a lot of PINGS!!!! Not good... then I scrolled up slowly and found out that she complained about my singing and how it was too "loud". Well I put " on loud because I suspect she means 2 things: first, it was actually too loud; second, she didn't want to hear my self-proclaimed golden voice that loud! When I read it, my heart drops! I was so scared and text an apology to her. Then I went to my uni and did my usual boring things!
However, frankly, I was quite, well a lot embarrassed and angry about that stupid, silly small things! IDK why, that's why I suspected I had PMS or sth although biologically it's impossible for me ^.^ Well, who knows, maybe there is PMS for boys >.< Shortly, when I was having lunch, I texted to one of my bestie that I had a "life crisis moment" with a crying smiley (get it?). She replied she was going to call me in the afternoon. Then I resumed my "life crisis moment" waiting for her calls, doing lots of thinking, posting something I might actually regret now on Facebook and basically did silly things.
Owh, yeah, you guys probably wondering now why did I gave my post Rant VS Whining title. Don't worry guys, I promise you it does have connection! Just bear with me for a lil while! Jumping scenes to evening now. My friend finally called me and before she even spoke anything. Me, on my "dying" moment, rambling on and on about off-topics stuffs, just as you guys notice from my previous post. When I suspected that she might get tired of it. I, amazingly, told her what happened and define what my "life crisis moment" is. She laughed a bit (I sense she was tired guys, well she was actually, she got mountain of reports due for every subjects she took, poor science peps, I feel for you, I do)!
After lil consolation from her, I decided to hang up as she sounded super busy! However, me being me, suddenly asked random stuffs again! "What's the difference between rant and whining, I feel like doing both right now" I said. She then answered and I swear guys, her answers was like knowledge to me! She replied something like this (with a lil modification of mine! thanks to URBAN DICTIONARY) "whining is when you complain about stuffs in high-pitched complaining cry or sound while rant is like giving a long speech that results in rambling and repeating non-sense".
IDK what happened guys, but I swear that her answer seems so important to me. I feel like I should learn something like this in uni, not some complex, sometimes inapplicable stuffs that they teach! IDK, it's just her answer gimme inspiration to write a post! hahaha... Well, Gc, if you read this, be proud, you have "inspired" me in the strangest way possible.
I can positively one-hundered percent say that I was ranting and not whining, thanks to my dear clever friend! Anyway, nightfalls come and I just found out from my land lord that she did not mean to bash me or anything, it was actually for completely different reason! I was so ashamed for myself, but oh well! That's life, mis-understanding must be part of someone life I guess! However, I'm so grateful for this misfortune since I now have a new material for my post! YEAYYYY!!!!
Oh, darn it, I wish to talk about myself in this post to help your imagination in reading my stories. Well, it's not too late. As a said before my name is JoI, but peps called me Jozz (both are not my real names, LOL), I'm 20 years of age, pretty good-looking Asian boy (check my fb if you're curios, oh and you might found out that I'm a bit narcissistic), currently single, have "strange" fashion sense (actually, fashionable I guess, I always try to wear something that shock peps), temporarily living in Melbourne for study purposes and oh I have "dory" and randomness syndrome!
I hope you enjoy and love my life story .I will come up with some more in the future! I decided to make a post about life-story in this blog for comedic purposes! Honestly, I'm pretty damn good at exaggerating in writing ^o^ and just in case if you're wondering, my fave comedian as of now is none other than sarcastic Miss Kathy Griffin. She is super hilarious! You've gotta check her out! Anyways, this is it for this post and I will see you guys again in the next one!!!

Rant VS Whining?.............................part 1 (draft version or whateva you wanna call it)

Whatsup!

I just had one of the worst days in my 20 years of life!!! Well, actually... not really worst, it was just a bad day. Hmmmm... it was actually not even bad, it's just... huff "PMS" I guess LOL! Hahahaha... I'm just joking, how in the twisted world would I be able to experience PMS?!? Ooops I forgot, I barely telling you guys anything about me. All you know about me probably is that my name is JoI, well not a real name, but it's pretty damn close to my real name anyway. Sides, it sounds cool, rite! people nowadays have their "cool" name anyways. e.g.: the oh-so-famous Tik-Tok singer KE-dollarsign-HA (quoting principal Figgins from Glee, rflol) and one of my absolute favourite teenage female singer JoJo alias Joanna Levesque. Anyway, you got the point!!!
Back to the main issues here, owh before we go further, I would like to apologise beforehand to you guys if you find me going off-topic so easily. It's a bad habit of mine, and adding to that, I am a self-proclaim "dory" as in the dory from the Pixar greatest's movie of all time, Finding Nemo. Meaning, I might have a lil problem with short-term memory loss, but it wasn't as bad as dory! It was just quite bad! You will understand what I mean by this eventually! Err... I might actually doing it now! I have no idea how in the hell I got to dory the fish! Huff :( this is bad, my debut personal post about me and I'm already showing you guys my true color (sing: But I see your trueeeeee colors, shining through! I see your trueeeee colors...). What in the hell just happened? OMG, I swear to you guys, I have a point here! Just bear with me and my stupid randomness...
After 5 full minutes just staring at my desktop while thinking what I was trying to convey, I finally remember. Bad Day (Cus you had a bad day, you're taking one down, you sing a sad song). Please guys, don't leave! It's just when I type that word, the 3 cute squirrels a.k.a. chipmunks appear in my head. Focus Jozz, focus! Owh, yea, btw I am called Jozz by my friend! again, not a real name, but it's pretty darn close, I dare you to guess!
OMG, I just can't help it, I accidentally heard they sing this song again when I searched for it (does this makes any sense at all). They are so cuteeeesssss!!!! Dammit. Now do you get what I mean by "dory" + random issues that I'm having. It took me 3 paragraphs off-topics to finally express what I'm going to express. What was it again? Gosh, I'm pretty hopeless! This is what happened when I'm trying to write stuffs without proper "plan/schedule"! I'm just going on and on and on about stuffs that appears on my head instantly! Gosh, I'm so tired for being me! I think I'm gonna scrap this post, this is rubbish! I talked nonsense and still keep going! How non-sense is this?!? LOL! Actually, no, I'm not going to scrap this one! I will use this post as a joke! I'm gonna make a new one just after this! So, don't go anywhere cuz I have a brilliant story to tell you guys, well according to me at least! Ciao... see ya in a jiffy!

SAME DIFFERENCE, a joke act? Nu-uh, don't think so!!!

Howdy all!!!

I'm backkkkk... after less than 24 hours :p well, my holiday is going to come to an end very soon; thus, I shall post as much as possible while I still have the time ^.^ Owh, I'm very proud to announce that I 've joined some new social networking websites. Feel free to add/subscribe/follow me if you want to:
Formspring: http://www.formspring.me/jozztonish (if you want to ask me any question)
Dailybooth: http://dailybooth.com/jozztonish (a social network about pictures - taking pics, comment pics, everything about pics, highly recommended for narcism peps)
Okay so that's for the housekeeping (lol, quoting my professor at uni); now let's get on to the real stuffs!

Today's post is about one of my favourite group singing act of all time, it's called Same Difference (what a clever name, don't chu think?). Well, it's a British (yeayyyy for the accents) Bublegum-Pop duo consisting of siblings, Sean and Sarah Smith.
First of all, I have to tell you. They rise to stardom when they compete in a very popular singing competition in the UK, the X-Factor on its 4th season. A lil fact for you guys, this season, I personally think that the music genre of its contestants is not of the main-stream one. The winner of this season, sadly wasn't Same Difference, it was Leon Jackson. Not taking anything from him, I think he's great, but his jazzy style doesn't suit the taste of "commoners?". You know what I mean. And, the runner up was Rhydian Roberts used to be an opera singer. It's hard to chew as well >.< so there you know now...
Having said that, this sibling act totally captivates my heart from the day they audition. The judges were extremely "harsh" on em in which I partially agree, their act is so unique that I don't think it kinda fit typical X-Factor. Despite of that, I'm so glad that they let this sibling through. Everything about em (corkiness, cheesiness, extreme enthusiasm or anything like that) makes me smile all day! They sang ... er... I don't know what song is that but it's totally full of energy don'tcha think?
Despite of the shaky start, they manage to get through to the judges house and guess who is their mentor? the Mr. Nasty man, Simon Cowell! hahaha... I thought they were never gonna make it, but then again I might be wrong as he actually liked em. I love Simon now ^.^ He definitely has good eyes. The siblings sang to classing song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". Perfect song choice, they actually have a pretty good voice rite! I could listen to em all night long no problem.
Okay, so here's the deal, I can't find the clip that only shows their performance, but I manage to find a clip that that has every group's performance on the judges house. Now that I think about it, some of you might not familiar with the X-Factor concept, so I better put it down the complete clip to give you a bit of knowledge bout this show! I will put the result as well to show you why I love reality show so much. Look at their reaction, it's full of drama!!!

To cut things short, they manage to be the Simon's final three, which simply means, they are going to the live show (yep, LIVE as in No Room for Error anymore). For the first live show, they sang "Tragedy". Not a big fan for this one, but I still love em! Owh, and guess what! more drama. Louis is the one giving the siblings a hard time this one & he's just overdid it. I know they are not the best singers in the competition, but he was way too harsh (and bear in mind, he's going to get harsher and harsher).
2nd live show! OMG they sang one of my favourite musical song of all time. Yep, from the hugely successful Disney's Original Movie, High School Musical's Breaking Free. This is getting interesting!
I think this is the right direction for them. Teenagers or in some case, childish person (ME :p) who absolutely adores movies like this are the perfect target market for em. Good move Mr. Cowell! watch the their performance HERE. Now, for the 3rd one, they sang S Club's Reach. Frankly, I did not know this song before they sang it. Now that I know, I just love, love, love this song and the original group. Full of energy, highly complicated choreo, it's just simply fun, fun, fun!!! It makes me smile for days!
The next one is a song that I would call, 'contradiction' song. The title of the song is "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" but you will be lying if your feet doesn't move at all after hearing the song. Once again, I never heard the song before, but after I heard it, I just fell in love with it. In my opinion, I think their version is better than the original. This song is so catchy and so Dineyesque (which I adore so much) that it actually makes me super duper excited. Owh, have I told you guys I kinda have excitment-controls problems? well, it just basically mean you should definitely know when I get super excited as I kinda shows it in such obvious way. Well, not much, just giggling non-stop, slapping my knees, kinda jump up and down and sometimes, hyperventilates :) anyway, here we go:
Owh I will not post all of their performance btw, I will only post like the one that I like (almost 3/4 tho, LOL). I will skip to the performance where they showcased their best vocal ability, which is their judges house's performance. watch Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now live version! Next, is my favourite song from them, the S Club's Never Had a Dream Come True. I cried like a baby watching this. It's just so emotional, seeing Sarah coping up with bullying T.T Owh, and on this occasion, I would also like to say
something about bullying. It has to STOP guys. It's not funny when you bully someone. You never know that certain someone that you bully might take it too seriously and decide to end up their lives just because of the supposedly "little prank" that you did. Well, lemme tell you right now. It's not little at all. I  was also a victim of bullying. I got bullied when I was in elementary High School because I was so chubby and unattractive. I didn't let it get to me at first, but it kinda did over time and believe it or not, it affects me so much. Luckily people stop bullying me shortly after, but I kinda know how the victims of bullying feel! So please, I encourage you to stop bullying. If you see anyone get bullied, please don't just stand there (esp if they are children). Rather than bullying someone your life would be better off if you do something more productive. Please think about it peps!
So, as if you guys watch all of their live performance. You should know that Louis Walsh really hated em. He even said that they're not gonna be in the final (Ouch!). Well, you know what, they were in the final. They managed to survive week after week till the final week and they so deserved that, they've worked really hard in my opinion. Okay so for the final, one performance that catch my interest is "Any Dream Will Do" duet with Jason Donovan. Why? well this performance has kids in it, literally. They bring bunch of kids holding candles on the stage. That was like killer, wasn't it? You don't have a heart if you don't vote for em.
Well, so basically they didn't win (too bad) but hey they got signed a record deal, which basically means that they would have an album to release and depending on the success of the album, they could release more albums in the future with the same record label. Fast forward to a year later, their much anticipated album (at least by me) is released and titled, Pop!
Why? cuz it contains pop songs. hahaha... Anyway, I loveeeeeee this album to death. I could listen to every track of the album again and again and again without being bored. Well, what can I say, I just love em. They got to perform on the X-Factor again to promote their debut single (YEAY!!!), We Are One which I think have a really, really good choreography.
Plus in addition to that, they got a "sincere" apologise from  Louis Walsh! (OMG, I'm so freaking happy when he said he was wrong and would buy the single and the album when it came out, dunno if he did it tho :p).
This song is so High School Musical-uesque, which I like... a lot!!! Every single songs in the album really catches my heart. I just can't stop listening to it. However, there's one song that I think have a very funny lyrics. When I posted some of the lyrics on my facebook, one of my friend asked whether I wanted a wife?!? LOL, so hilarious!!! So here is the song, I Need a House.
Having said all of that, my favourite track would be the slow, heart-felt last song on the album "I'm Still Amazed". I could cry to thing song all night long! hahaha... but then my eyes would be awfully dry >.< I guess I shouldn't listen it all night long then :)
Owh these are all just samples, you have to buy their CD if you really like what you hear. Buy it at AMAZON now. Unfortunately, their debut album wasn't a big success, they got parted ways with their label but luckily got signed to another label ^.^ (Yeah, meaning new albums)!!! and yes, they manage to release their sophomore studio albums! This time their music is more mature than their debut album, but still bubblegum pop oriented! Their second album is titled, The Rest is History. Lemme tell you something, their second album is as good if not better than the first one. I just love, love, love it!!! hahahaha... I got addicted to their music!
Again, every track is like gold to me. I would listen to em on countless repeats!!! The debut single from this album is, Shine on Forever (Photo Frame). However, for me although it's a really good song and good choreo I must say, I like the other songs on the album better. Therefore, for samples purpose, I would not choose their debut single as sample. Instead, I will choose the title track, The Rest is History as the sample as I think it has more emotional quality. So, here goes nothing!
Next, I will go with more faster pace song alias dance themed song, Karma Karma featuring Alcazar. OMG, I just can't help dancing to this catchy song :p hahahaha... Oo, Oo, OoOooooooO, Oo, OoooOoooo... well you get the picture ^.^ Enjoy!
Well I don't think this album did very well. But I really hope they get to release another album. I just love em so much, I cannot think what I will become without their songs (pure exaggeration :p). Please, please, please release another album!!! Anyway, like always, please buy this album if you really like it at iTunes or AMAZON.

Well, I guess that's it for today. I will be absent again for quite some time as I will be busy studying trying to get the Bachelor title at my young age :p (anyone smells pride?!?) hahaha... It's been fun making this post, I hope you like it and it will be my pleasure and honour if you also like this duo just as much as I do!!! They deserve it guys! Please support them by buying their albums!!! See ya guys!!! Please comment, rate and subscribe (eit, isn't that for Youtube :p) well, you know what I mean!!! hehehehe... Love ya!
